A musical on a grand scale - a rollicking frolicking feast of entertainment.
In 1970, renowned writer/composer/lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted Charles Dickens tale A Christmas Carol into the hit screen musical Scrooge which received four Academy Award nominations and five Golden Globe nominations, and in 1992 he adapted it into a full-scale stage musical. Keeping the original songs, including the Academy Award nominated "Thank You Very Much," this rousing stage version includes six sparkling and tuneful new songs and has enjoyed a hugely successful tour of England and in the West End at London’s Dominion Theatre starring the late Anthony Newley. Scrooge! The Musical tells the timeless story of redemption and love with a beautiful musical score, rousing dance numbers, beautiful period costumes, and heartwarming drama.
